
Here is a selection of my cakes from 2006-2009. The cakes are in chronological order, starting with the newest and ending with the oldest.
Most of the cakes are my favorite chocolate butter cake or australian mudcake, with either Italian Meringue Buttercream in various flavors (coffee, chocolate, caramel) or a regular powdered sugar buttercream with chocolate or peanutbutter. Very few of the cakes are sponges with mousse, as the perishable whipped cream filling needs refridgeration and does not leave sufficient decorating time. The more elaborate cakes takes anywhere from 4-12 hours for the piping alone, so you can see why I'm not a big fan of highly perishable fillings.
